Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated, dependable Mold Remediation Technician to join our growing team. This role involves performing mold removal and prevention services in residential and commercial properties. You’ll work directly with customers, follow safety protocols, and help ensure each job is completed to our high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mold remediation, cleaning, and containment procedures following EPA and IICRC guidelines
• Assist with inspections, testing, and documentation under the direction of a licensed supervisor
• Safely use equipment such as HEPA vacuums, air scrubbers, foggers, and dehumidifiers
• Set up and take down containment barriers and negative air pressure systems
• Handle materials responsibly, including removing mold-affected drywall, insulation, or flooring
• Maintain accurate job site notes and communicate updates with team leads and managers
• Interact professionally with clients, answering basic questions and addressing concerns courteously
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear PPE at all required times
• Participate in ongoing training and certification opportunities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders, and work in tight spaces such as crawl spaces or attics
• Previous experience in mold remediation, construction, HVAC, or restoration preferred
• Must pass a background check and drug screening (required by NC guidelines for residential service providers)
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends during emergency calls
